I am from Union South Carolina. That is where I was raised. That is where I am now. 100% of religious facilities in this county are Christian.

I lived the majority of my adult life in Miami Beach Florida. Particularly the southern end of the island called South Beach. As you walked onto the beach, if you looked above your head, about 12 feet in the air was what appeared to be a fishing line, suspended in air. This apparently enclosed a large portion of South Beach. In Judaism this is called an Eruv. In Judaism Saturday is the Sabbath. An observant Jewish person cannot do anything outside of the home that appears to be work on the Sabbath. They can't push a stroller down the street, A wheelchair, carry keys outside or even carry a child across the street. You cannot do anything that looks like work in public. In places that have large Jewish populations they often have an Eruv that encircles a community that basically turns everything within the Eruv into a big backyard where they can push a stroller down the street (etc...) on the Sabbath.

Now I am not Jewish, but as far as I know they do not believe that Jesus was the son of God and they consider the New Testament a nice work of fiction.

So where does that leave me? Yesterday, literally yesterday, Jehovah's Witnesses rang my doorbell stuck a pamphlet in my door and ran away before I could get there to tell them to get off my front porch before they burst into flames. A Jewish person has never tried to convert me. They never told me I was going to hell for being gay. I've never had Jewish grandparents pray that I would turn straight and marry their granddaughter. Let's just say union South Carolina is a little different. So what do I believe? Well, somebody has to be wrong. And I'm not here to decide that. Since I've been blind I've had some Jews and some Christians who have gone above and beyond the call of duty to help me. So I'm cool with a lot of people. In one of my favorite sci-fi series, the artificial intelligent robots believe in the one true God. The humans are polytheistic and believe in the old Greek gods (Battlestar Galactica, such a fantastic show). I also know that we made a Chihuahua from a wolf. God did not create the Chihuahua breed. Lol

So what does B. Believe? Wouldn't you like to know…
