I'm going to take a break from the personal stuff before my hometown burns me at the stake. One thing...I'm getting less likes, but y'all are still reading it. Remember it's MY story and lived experience. I'm sorry it does not fit the narrative you may have had in your head.

Now on to the meat of the post. All the chip capacity of the world is being bought up by Artificial Intelligence companies. Apple just raised the price of their most professional desktop by $500 and a lot of their products also saw price increases. They have not touched the iPhone price yet, but that is coming in September. The rumored iPhone fold now has a rumored price of $2500. This is going to get worse before it gets better. There is no sign of relief at the moment. It is not only affecting Apple. Everything electronic is scheduled to see some kind of price increase, from the Xbox to your laptop. I feel like we've been focused on the wrong thing for a long time. We've been worried about oil. Which is pretty damn easy to come by and found in many places. There is one manufacturer of high-end AI chips. And it's in Taiwan. And the machine that they used to make those chips with is made by a company in the Netherlands. That's it right now. More capacity is scheduled to come online, but it's going to be a minute. And who knows? We may need all of that capacity. If Elon Musk really wants to put what he wants to put in space, it's going to take everything. My point is, buy the iPhone at the current price while you can still get it. Buy your electronics now. If you need a new computer you should have done that two weeks ago.

Get ready for a wild ride.

The ex told me tonight that I should be riding books. And he's not the first one to tell me this. Watch out.
