I made a little accidental discovery. I posted a screenshot of a tweet that infuriated me. That post has absolutely blown up. It has gotten more views than anything I've ever done before.

This screenshot was of a tweet on X. The account is verified, which means they are getting paid for engagement. Of course the profile is trying to get you to sign up for a newsletter. I did not know all of this at the time, but I went back after this post blew up so much. I never quite understood what Rage-Bait was until this. This page has a marketing team behind it I feel sure. It is a very well crafted tweet that is designed to infuriate you. X is truly a cess pool. It's not people tweeting happy birthday to each other. It's very interesting what Elon Musk has decided to let Twitter evolve into. I have to give Mark Zuckerberg credit. Facebook is a very decent platform. It's not perfect but fake accounts usually do not last long on here.

This truly has given me a new perspective. Most of this crap is just fake. I don't think the news is fake, I just think what the news is reporting on is fake. I don't think this is social media. This is social engineering on a scale we have never seen before.
